Work Permit
WORK PERMIT
Canada is a great place for foreign nationals to work. Getting a Canada work permit opens countless opportunities for you to realize your dreams and career ambitions. There are two types of work permits. LMIA-Based Work Permits and LMIA-Exempt Work Permits. These are operated under two distinct Canadian work permit programs, the Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) program and the International Mobility Program (IMP).
Employer-specific Work Permit
An employer-specific work permit allows you to work in Canada based on certain work conditions. These conditions include:
- The name of the specific employer the applicant is allowed to work for
- Duration of employment
- Work location of employment
